National Association of Senior Move Managers - NASMM
The membership organisation for Senior Move Managers®. NASMM members specialise in helping older people and their families with the daunting process of downsizing and moving to a new residence.
FirstStop Advice is an independent, free service offering advice and information for older people, their families and carers about housing and care options in later life. It is led by the charity Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) working in partnership with other national and local organisations.
Downsizing from the family home or sorting through years of memories when packing can be difficult and challenging. Moving home doesn't mean you have to leave your memories behind. At the Yorkshire Move Manager we are proud to work with Story Harvesters to help you deal emotionally with your later life move. We have developed a special DVD and booklet package for our clients - just ask for more information.
Story Harvesters helps ordinary people to tell their often extraordinary stories. They write your life story for you - one element or a full memoir. Rachel will inspire you to mine your memory and write your own memoirs. Story Harvesters also use the power of stories and reminiscence to help people with dementia and in palliative care to feel better.
